In 2013, the González Sabucedo family fulfilled their long held dream with the founding of Bodegas Ramón do Casar in Prado, Castrelo de Miño. After spending years in Venezuela, the family returned to their homeland in Ribeiro to build their own winery. Since then, a blend of personal history, passion, and dedication has been at the heart of their wines.

The vineyards are located on the rolling slopes along the Miño River, where viticulture has played an important role for centuries. The combination of granite soils, Atlantic influences, and warm summers gives the wines their fresh acidity, aromatic richness, and mineral tension. Treixadura forms the core of the plantings and shows its best side here: elegant, fresh, and full of aromatic layers.
