Vinos La Zorra traces its origins to Mogarraz, in the Sierra de Francia (Salamanca). Founder Agustín Maíllo grew up among the vines, with memories of his grandfather making wine in stone lagars, open vats where grapes were pressed by foot. In 2010 he gave shape to his passion by founding Vinos La Zorra. From the start he chose old vineyards dating from 1925 to 1950, aiming to breathe new life into the native grape varieties and terroir of Sierra de Salamanca.

The style of Vinos La Zorra is pure, vibrant and expressive. The red wines show the refined and spicy character of Rufete, with elegant acidity and soft tannins. The white wines are fresh and aromatic, with subtle floral notes and a mineral edge. Rosé and special cuvées round out the range. All wines carry the mark of their mountainous origin and the craftsmanship of their makers.
Sustainable and innovative
In the cellar, tradition goes hand in hand with modern techniques that ensure precision and purity. Fermentation takes place with natural yeasts, often in small barrels or concrete tanks, to preserve the character of the grape. In the vineyards, the focus is on organic methods and the protection of biodiversity. In this way Vinos La Zorra connects old vines and centuries of knowledge with a forward-looking approach.

What began as the personal dream of Agustín Maíllo has grown into a winery that has put the identity of Sierra de Salamanca back on the map. Every bottle tells a story of rediscovery: of forgotten grapes, old vineyards and a region that, thanks to skill and vision, has been given a new face.
